SUMMARY:Hail Fredonia Records '25 Trashy Annie/ Tina Williams & Ed Croft/Greg Hill/ Tetris Effect - The Cave
DESCRIPTION:The Cave presents \nHail Fredonia Records 2025 \nFriday\, December 12\, 2025 7pm $10 \nTrashy Annie\, Tetris Effect\, Ed Croft & Tina Williams & Greg Hill \n \n  \n \n  \nHail! Fredonia Records Presents: Annual Showcase at The Cave  Student-run record label Hail! Fredonia Records is proud to present our annual showcase at The Cave in Buffalo\, NY! Join us for an unforgettable night celebrating the incredible local talent that makes our community thrive. This year’s lineup features: •   \n  \nTrashy Annie: Grit\, Guts\, and Rock ‘n’ Roll \n  \nBorn in the the dusty bars of Austin\, Texas and raised in sweaty rock clubs from New York to L.A.\, Trashy Annie roars with a raw\, genre-defying sound that’s equal parts country soul\, hard rock edge\, and punk defiance. Fronted by 2023 CMA of Texas Americana Artist of the Year Annie Davis\, this band doesn’t just play music—they throw a damn party you’ll never forget. “Grittier than Ashley McBryde or early Kacey Musgraves ever went\, and I bloody love it” raves Rockin’ Magpie\, and they aren’t wrong. \n  \nAnnie\, a self-made entrepreneur and expert in the field of biomechanics \, picked up her first guitar at 44\, taught herself one chord\, and wrote “Runnin” in 2020\, fueled by whiskey and a middle finger to fear. She hit an open mic\, caught the songwriting bug\, and spent the pandemic mastering instruments\, writing\, and helping produce her own tracks with an unrelenting vision. \n  \nWhen trolls trashed her online for wearing clothes that are “too young” for her\, she didn’t flinch—she named the band Trashy Annie\, turning hate into a badge of unapologetic authenticity. \n  \nFollowing her second release\, 2022 banger “Nuclear Meltdown\,” Annie recorded with heavyweights from The Refreshments\, The Wallflowers and Faith Hill to develop her own unique sound. Her debut album\, Sticks and Stones (May 2023)\, is a 12-track gut-punch of catchy hooks and raw storytelling\, with songs like “Bama” and “Born Pretty” celebrating outliers who live loud. Backed by a powerhouse crew—Miles Barker (bass)\, Blake Jurasin and Amir Neubach (guitars)\, Ryan Smith (drums) —she and her band began touring relentlessly\, playing 100+ shows across the United States in their first year alone. \n  \nLive\, Trashy Annie’s a high-energy riot\, channeling Janis Joplin’s fire and Joan Jett’s swagger. “You can’t leave their show in a bad mood—it’s physically impossible\,” fans say. \n  \nWith a new album and a collaboration with Joan Jett’s drummer Thommy Price on the horizon\, plus a 2025 tour hitting the U.S. and Mexico\, Trashy Annie’s here to break rules and raise hell. Catch them before they burn the house down. \n  \nGreg Hill – a solo indie/alt-rock artist with heartfelt lyrics and raw sound. •    Tetris Effect – an emerging jazz fusion band made up of talented students from SUNY Fredonia. •    \n  \n Ed Croft & Tina Williams – a dynamic punk duo bringing high energy to the stage. Ed Croft Description: A proud Fredonia alum and respected professor\, Ed Croft has become one of Western New York’s most versatile and sought-after bassists. His talent and dedication have earned him major recognition in the JazzBuffalo Poll year after year\, including Best Acoustic Upright Bassist (2017–2024)\, the Rising Star Award (2018)\, and Best Electric Bassist (2023). Equally fluent on upright and electric bass\, Ed moves effortlessly across jazz\, blues\, rock\, and country. His touring credits span the U.S. and Canada with groups like The Town Pants and The Jakobs Ferry Stragglers\, showcasing his dynamic ability on stages across North America. Throughout his career\, Ed has shared the stage and studio with incredible artists like Mike Stern\, Darryl Washington\, John Jorgenson\, Shades of Blue\, and Tia Brazda. Beyond the spotlight\, he’s a passionate member of Buffalo’s music community\, always eager to collaborate\, inspire\, and bring his love for music to every performance. https://youtu.be/cJFTJrUePvMhhttps://youtu.be/g6aImeOjMA0(https://youtu.be/de1BEMPA7rM) https://youtu.be/g6aImeOjMA0 \n  \nTina Williams Description: Born and raised in Western New York\, Tina Williams brings over two decades of musical mastery to the stage\, effortlessly blending punk\, country\, folk\, blues\, and jazz into a sound that’s her own. Her singer-songwriter roots run deep\, grounded in soulful storytelling that moves from classic country warmth to gritty anti-folk and blues. As the powerhouse vocalist of the punk band Murder!\, Tina delivers electrifying performances that command the room. Yet she’s just as captivating in more laid-back venues\, sharing heartfelt originals or slipping into rich\, expressive jazz collaborations. A true force in Buffalo’s vibrant music scene\, Tina’s style\, raw emotion\, and magnetic stage presence make every show an experience.https://youtu.be/9ysqYwUZgHAhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C-WK1h33AIUhttps://youtu.be/9fy5dSOmVlc \n  \nTetris Effect Description Tetris Effect is a student-led jazz-funk fusion band based in Fredonia\, NY . Forming in late 2024 after connecting through the SUNY Fredonia jazz program\, the five-piece group frequently collaborates with fellow student musicians. In between performing at Buffalo Iron Works\, Domus Fare\, and notable campus events such as Fredchella and Amp It Up\, the group is currently working on their first full-length album Here is a write up of the event and bios  for Tina Williams\, Ed Croft\, and Tetris Effect . We will be sending a bio for Greg Hill tonight. The bios can be used for Facebook posts for the individual flyers. We will be posting the solos on  Instagram and collaborating with you so nothing has to be done on that platform.

SUMMARY:Wishbone Ash Wishlist 2025 US Tour - Sportsmens
DESCRIPTION:Sportsmens presents \nWishbone Ash  \n“Wishlist 2025 US Tour” \nThursday\, November 13\, 2025 7pm \n$35ad/$40door VIP $85.00 \n \nVIP Experience 5pm to 6pm \n-Pre Show Meet and Q&A with the Band \n-Photo ops with the band \n-Exclusive Private Performance \n-VIP Laminate & Lanyard \n-Crowd free merchandise shopping \n-LIMITED AVAILABILITY \n \nWISHBONE ASH TO PLAY FAN FAVORITES ON WORLDWIDE  “WISH LIST” TOUR \nHalf a century spent touring while continually releasing live and studio albums\, Wishbone Ash is now  gearing up for their “Wish List Tour”\, an evening of requests gathered from their fans on social media.  \n “I love the interactive element of this\,” says Andy Powell\, founding guitarist\, vocalist and songwriter.”  We have so many chapters\, lineups and flavours in our music.  There’s more than 500 songs\, and we continue to write new ones.  It is fun to let the fans decide.” \n “In some ways our career is like a smaller but global version of the Grateful Dead’s \, where radio was not the primary path where people discovered our music\,” Powell continues.“Many of our fans came on board through word of mouth and exposure to our fan community.  With such a long and varied history\, fans have followed us closely through certain eras during which they might have come of age musically speaking. They’ll have their favorite songs that they’ll ask us to play.  So we decided to give them the show they want!” \nUsing Set.Fan.com\, and their social media platforms\, the band has gathered up the most requested songs which will form the ongoing world wide tour\, beginning in the UK this Fall\, and coming to America 07 November thru 07 December. \n “I fully enjoy the VIP Experiences at the shows\, and having that direct contact with our people\, hearing their stories and they hearing ours.  I can tell that even diehard fans are amazed at the longevity of the band. Our ongoing narrative of  events that have triggered certain songs or tales of interacting with the greatest musicians at the time through our extensive travels.” \nContinual touring has kept the band in top shape\, and kept fans engaged to share their concert experiences with their friends\, which continues to bring more fans\, even through the pandemic period. \n“It is so cool to see so many young people at our shows\,” Powell says.  Many discover us through the vinyl craze\, or a seasoned parent or friend.  In Europe\, young people sometimes make up half the audience now.” \nPowell’s 2016 release of his autobiography\, “Eyes Wide Open: True Tales of a Wishbone Ash Warrior\,” offers some of the  story.  With Wishbone Ash\, the story is always moving forward.  Their last studio album\, Coat of Arms reached audiences on five continents.  The band is in pre-production for the next studio album.   \nA special “Wish List Tour” CD will be available at shows\, featuring the songs that folks might be treated to from the show.   \n“It’s cool to realize that our concerts have become mini conventions of sorts for fans to interact with each other and the band\,” Powell continues.  “It’s very much a community\, like the jam bands have.  Case in point\, on this last tour after being featured on the  Cruise To The Edge rock cruise\, a fan from Texas flew in by himself but I watched him during the course of multiple shows onwards up the East Coast  being shown hospitality by other diehard Ash fans. This music of ours gets to you! I’ve seen this occur multiple times over the years with different shows where the fan community rallies around a newbie.”  \nIn addition the interactive Wish List Tour and CD\, the band is preparing the release of The BBC Sessions Box Set Surface to Air\, a photojournal “coffee table” book\, plus a new limited run of custom Andy Powell Flying V’s (the instrument he made famous) crafted by Tatalias Guitars. \n For more information\, visit www.wishboneashofficial.com or check out them out on social media: \n Facebook @Wishbone.Ash.Official \nInstagram @wishboneashofficial \nTwitter @wishboneash_com \nYouTube https://www.youtube.com/user/wishboneblog?app=desktop \nOZARK TALENT – 34\,000+ concerts on 5 continents – since 1989 \nSteve Ozark.  785.760.3143.  OzarkTalent@gmail.com

SUMMARY:Smokey Brights w/Ormolu - The Cave
DESCRIPTION:The Cave presents \nSmokey Brights \nw/Ormolu \nSaturday\, November 8\, 2025 $10.00 \n7pm Doors/ 8pm Showtime \n \n \nThe first composite solid rocket fuel that eventually launched spaceships was made with asphalt\, effectively paving the way to the moon. Dashboard Heat\, the newest record by Seattle stalwarts Smokey Brights\, embodies this funny little fact\, using tough truths to slip the surly bonds of earth and\, through hardship\, touch the stars. Members Kim West (vocals/keys)\, Ryan Devlin (vocals/guitars)\, Luke Ragnar (bass/vocals)\, and Nick Krivchenia (drums) have crafted a ramshackle rocket of a record that touches upon cars\, celestial forces\, childhood homes\, light and hope\, darkness and grief. Produced by Andy D. Park in exchange for Ryan painting his recording studio\, the album sees the band sonically shooting for the solar system while staying true to their grounded take on songcraft that has made them a mainstay of the Northwest scene. \n  \nThe group released their first LP\, Taste For Blood\, in 2014\, followed it up with Hot Candy in 2016\, I Love You But Damn in 2020\, and Levitator in 2023\, with a constellation of EPs and singles sprinkled in between. While each successive release has garnered Smokey Brights more acclaim and attention – the Levitator LP and the Broken Too EP were ranked #50 and#81 respectively on KEXP’s Best of 2023 list – perhaps more important are the opportunities that have appeared as if by some musical magic. The group has four songs on the hit indie game Pacific Drive and recently recorded the soundtrack for the NPR podcast Let the Kids Dance! Along the way\, they’ve racked up thousands of miles\, both corporeal and cosmic\, playing hundreds of shows locally\, nationally\, and internationally. \n  \nSmokey Brights have no intention of slowing down for the release of their fifth LP\, Dashboard Heat. Their music video for “All in Who You Know\,” directed by frequent collaborator Travis Trautt\, features the band fresh off a performance at the Moscow Ren Faire\, engaged in an epic quest for a mythical object of dazzling power. Recently\, they filmed a stripped-down\, sold-out two-night stand at Seattle’s Rabbit Box Theater\,  debuting the new record in its entirety. Even the physical record of Dashboard Heat is ambitious\, stretching the terrene boundaries of vinyl into the celestial. The cover art from Brazilian surrealist illustrator Bruno Cesar features an Easter Egg for every song on the record\, while the accompanying lyrical comic book sees Cesar sending the band on a trip through the silver age stars. Smokey Brights will be supporting all this astral ambition with terrestrial touring\, hitting both coasts\, the Southwest and the Northwest in fall 2025.

SUMMARY:The Outcrops - Sportsmens Stage
DESCRIPTION:The Outcrops  \nSaturday\, September 27\, 2025 8pm $10 \nout·crop /ˈoutˌkräp/ : an outstanding rock formation \n \nDeep in the woods of Northern New Jersey\, The Outcrops have emerged as a force to be reckoned with. This tight-knit group of musicians weaves together the soulful sounds of blues\, the infectious rhythms of funk and soul\, and the electrifying energy of rock’n’roll\, creating a sonic experience that had them named “Band of the Year” (Aquarian\, 2020). \n \nAt the core of The Outcrops are the dynamic duo of Bryan Schroeder and Cassidy Rain. Bryan\, with his searing lead guitar\, effortlessly weaves intricate melodies that fall somewhere between the soulful prowess of Derek Trucks and the transcendent vibes of Jerry Garcia. Cassidy brings real and raw powerhouse vocals that fans have compared to artists like Bonnie Raitt\, Susan Tedeschi\, & Grace Potter\, as well as her rhythmic guitar work that is in constant conversation with the band.  \n \nMax Adler\, a Montclair University music graduate\, found his home behind the drum kit\, driving the band’s infectious grooves. Qaasim Munoz holds it down on the bass guitar adding a unique flavor to the band’s sonic tapestry. \n \nThe Outcrops’ journey has been marked by milestones\, such as sharing the stage with acts like The Outlaws\, Three Dog Night\, Alexis P. Suter\, Kat Wright\, and King Solomon Hicks\, to gracing the lineups of festivals such as Rock\, Ribs\, & Ridges\, the Anglesea Blues Festival\, Musikfest\, and Meeting of the Minds. Their performance earned them 1st place in the 2nd Annual SOPAC Blues Challenge back in 2017. \n \nCASSIDY RAIN – LEAD VOCALS / RHYTHM GUITAR \nCassidy’s musical journey began before she can remember – she was singing and memorizing songs when she started talking. At the age of 5\, her parents got her a tape recorder that she used constantly to record songs she heard and sang. By the time she was 10 years old\, she had already started writing her own songs. At 14\, she picked up the acoustic guitar and it became her fondest companion; she took it everywhere with her – to school\, to the beach\, everywhere. Her guitars have their share of knicks and bruises from their adventures.  \n \n \nBRYAN SCHROEDER – LEAD GUITAR / BACKUP VOCALS \nBryan’s journey in music began early as well\, attending his Dad’s band’s shows from a very young age. There are photos of him and his cousin on stage with his Dad’s band\, toy guitars in hand. However\, Bryan’s first musical venture was in drumming\, and he played drums for years before learning to play guitar. He began to really hone in on the guitar when he moved to California and was able to spend hours playing every day. \n \nMAX ADLER – DRUMS / BACKUP VOCALS \nMax rounds out The Outcrops rhythm section with a fluid groove that carries the band along like the ebbs and flows of a river.  Like the great blues\, soul and rock bands of the 60’s and 70’s\, his style has a foundation in Jazz.  Max was a student of the Jazz program at Montclair State University in New Jersey and he uses his knowledge and skills to add flavors and dynamics\, imprinting his style on the band’s sound. \n \nQAASIM MUNOZ – BASS GUITAR \nQaasim\, otherwise known as “Q”\, adds a uniquely funky & jazzy style of playing to The Outcrops. Besides playing music\, Q is also a professional fine artist.
