The cohesion is evident in every note. The upcoming EP from Nikki’s Wives packs a wallop with a unified vision that can only come from a group working together as a creative unit. After living through years of teenage excess and infatuation, it’s all too fitting that this London, Ontario based alt-pop threesome should find inspiration in the form of a powerful obsession. The band recently released two new songs from their upcoming debut, “Ghost” and “Lonely Being Cool” available on iTunes now.

The band’s upcoming debut EP titled For E-V-E-R introduces Nikki Whitehead’s smoky and glorious vocal style to the world, with a tight band at the center of everything, giving it a very solid energy. “Lyrically, we really wanted to indulge,” Nikki admits, “We took some difficult emotions like jealousy and lust, and tried to gloss them up – make them feel seductive.” For E-V-E-R was mixed by Matty Green who has also worked with Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran and produced by Alastair Sims best known for his work on Rush’s Live in Cleveland and Three Days Grace’s Human.
